3. Recommended Web Browsers
Although Moodle will work with any web browser, we recommend using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome to run Moodle as these are the most compatible browsers. Both of these browsers are available to download for free from the internet. Details of the version of each web browser that is required to run Moodle properly are shown in the table below. The "Download" links will take you to a website where you can download the browser.
| Browser Name | Minimum Version Required | Recommended Version | Link to Download |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Chrome | 30.0 | Latest | Download |
| Mozilla Firefox | 25.0 | Latest | Download |
| Apple Safari | 6 | Latest | Download |
| Microsoft Edge | - | Latest | Download |
4. Using Moodle on a Mobile Device
Moodle can be used on smartphones and tablets. The best way to do this is through the Moodle App, which is available through Google Play and the Apple store. While currently unavailable, we hope to offer our courses through the app in the future. In the meantime, if you wish to download the app, search for “Moodle” and download the app with the orange icon shown below.
5. If you forget your username/password
If you forget your username or password follow the 'Forgotten your username or password?' link on the login page

6. Common Technical Issues
Images not displaying
This may mean that the image link is broken. Contact the Training Coordinator at training@mastersaddlers.co.uk explaining where on Moodle you are seeing this problem.
Videos not playing properly
This is normally an issue with internet speed/bandwidth rather than problems with the video or Moodle site. However, if you use a fast internet connection and your video still doesn’t work, contact the Training Coordinator at training@mastersaddlers.co.uk .
In both cases, if possible, take screenshots and send those with your email.
